we'll talk about that and your complete forecast coming up. the sheriff in queen anne's county face as multimaryland lawsuit. a woman claims he knew the brother was harassing her and did nosmght queen anne's county cher sheriff gary hofmann and his brother john hofmann are being sued by kristy taylor. she said hofmann assaulted her in twine. corporal hofmann pleaded gill ti to second degree assaulted and murphy said one day later she was let g sheriff hofmann said he completely removed himself from the case because of a conflict of interest. a spokesman for the agency said

february. the video contradicts what the officer claimed in his report. you see the 19-year-old. then you see the officer with a gun drawn before he swings his hand making contact with dorm's face. he said the teen was pay salting him but the police department said they investigated and eventually charged the officer. >> played on the community's stereotypes that this young black person was some sort of menace, and he wasn't. >> the charges were also dropped against dorm but not before his attorney said he served four months in jail. in light of the incident, prince george's county police said he's working on the department's transparency and working to stop police brutality. a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a 22-year-old mother

early sunday morning. she was talking to her haunt right outside her home when she was hit by a stray bullet. police do not believe that amos was the intended target but she was shot in the cleft and died a short time later at the hospital. police are asking if you know anything about the shooting, call metro crime stoppers. >> devante moore is facing charges for killing a man. a fight broke out in the parking lot and kevin glasgow was killed. police were able to identify moore as the gunman.

>> anne arundel police are looking for two men who shot a man. the victim was shot mullet peel times in the 200 block of fifth avenue and taken to shock trauma. detectives are asking anyone with information to call about the home invasion. >> officer forest taylor was on a call when he was seriously hurt. this week he passed away, leaving a dlarmt in mourning. >> reporter: in a statement today, the police commissioner called officer forrest taylor someone who was committed to the city. officer forrest taylor's nickname was dino.

police say he was selfless in making the city safe. officer taylor was critically injured during a car crash last february and didn't recover. >> officer taylor, unfortunately, died as a result of a complication from that accident last week, and it's tough. these men and women risk their lives every day. they rush to emergencies, rush to help people and they back up the quality of service with their lives. >> reporter: the officer was responding to a call. as he approached the intersection, the light was red. the other light was green. that driver couldn't see the officer because of the building and want able to stop. police are calling it a terrible accident. it's alsos about the loss of a veteran officer who was well liked by his piers and community. >> officer taylor will be part of the family, part of the ppd
